Welfare Service for Cancer Patients

The flagship project of this Association is the provision of free lodging and meals for cancer patients who come from far off places to seek out-door treatment at the Apeksha Hospital. Irrespective of ethnicity or religion all the patients are provided separate accommodation for male, female and, child and parents. Currently, facilities are available for 85 patients and caregivers. The Association provides transport to and from Apeksha Hospital when required as added facility. Documentary evidence from Apeksha Hospital is required for admission and compulsorily a caregiver has to stay with every patient at the lodging facility. Meals are provided to patients through donations. Donations may be in monetary form to cover the cost of meals cooked at the Associations kitchen, or may be as dry rations required for the purpose. If donors wish, even cooked food can be donated to inmates.
